Cultural identity and belonging are also a focus within my work, being central to my upbringing in Africa. My identity series calls into question cultural stereotypes and preconceived notions of belonging.

Africa’s diverse beauty and rich heritage are a powerful source of inspiration. Recent work includes screen prints of traditional African imagery on traditional English prints - wallpapers, fabrics and lace curtains. I hope to immerse the viewer in a fusion of cultures and challenge further debate on what it means to "belong".
